Menopause Tracker: Meno Log, published by iThinkOf. Last updated 2 October 2026.

In short

Your health history stays on your device. There is no account. We do not receive your symptoms, cycles, treatments or notes, and our server stores nothing about you.

What is stored on your device

What you enter: symptoms and how strong they were, symptoms you create yourself, cycle records, treatments and changes to them, notes, your self-reported stage, appointment details and the app's settings. This is kept in an encrypted database on your device. The key is held in the device's secure storage. This data is excluded from operating-system backups (Android backup is off and the iOS database folder is excluded from iCloud and iTunes backup). You can turn on an app lock that uses Face ID, biometrics or your device passcode.

The app also keeps a small local list of product events (event names only, never health content) on your device. It is never uploaded.

What our server receives

When the app starts, and when you return to it, it asks our server at menolog.sptv.info for its current settings (for example the subscription key, the links to this policy and the terms, and whether an update is required). This is a plain request that carries nothing about you: no account, no device identifier, no health data and no usage data.

Like any request on the internet, it shows your IP address to the server while it is answered. Our server does not store it: there are no user records, no analytics, and the web server's access log is switched off for this site. The server cannot tell which phone or person asked.

The app keeps the last answer on your device so it still works offline.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your health data, name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos. There is no account. The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no crash-reporting service. It does not read an advertising ID and does not track you.

Third parties

The app opens this policy and the terms in your browser when you tap those links.

Notifications

Reminders are created on your device and are off until you turn them on. Their text is discreet ("Check-in" / "Your check-in is ready"). No notification service on our side is involved.

Exports you create

You can create a PDF report and an encrypted backup file (.menobackup, protected with a passphrase you choose). They are shared only by you, through your device's share sheet. We never receive them. If you lose the backup passphrase, we cannot recover the backup.

Keeping and deleting your data

Use More → Delete all data in the app to erase everything stored on your device. Uninstalling the app also removes it. See Account and data deletion. Because we hold no health data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies.

Children

The app is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights over personal data, such as access, correction, deletion and the right to complain to your data protection authority. We hold no health data about you. For purchase-related questions, write to us and we will help as far as the store account allows.

Security

Health data is encrypted on your device. Backups are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your passphrase. Traffic to our server and to RevenueCat uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If the app's data practices change we will update this page and its date.
